A BUSINESS "FORGED FROM FIRE"
While it wasn't the opening we planned, we had a way to help and felt we had to. On August 8th, 2023 a tragic fire destroyed our town of Lahaina, HI. Residents who lost homes also lost the ability to house themselves and their pets. Outside the choice to forfeit them to the Humane Society, most had no real options. We built out our kennel facility in an effort to house those pets so they could later be returned to their families. At the date of writing this we are coming up on the one year anniversary and are proud to say most of them have returned "home". We are now gratefully opening those spots up to new guests.
THE RANCH
Set on 2.5 acres in the Olowalu Valley, we have 16 kennels inside a fully fenced, beautiful Hawaiian oasis. During the day, our two large Play Paddocks offer plenty of shade and a lush environment for our guests to play and socialize in while under the care and supervision of our attentive staff. Since it can get hot in the Hawaiian summers, we make sure to keep plenty of filtered Olowalu stream water in stock tanks for swimming and have sprinklers throughout the fields for frolicking. We have trained staff on the Ranch 24/7, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your four-legged family member is happy and safe with us! Once the sun starts going down all of our guests are brought up to the Bunkhouse to eat, relax and settle in for a well earned sleep in their private bunk on their own elevated, orthopedic Kuranda Pro bed. Harnessing energy from the sun and water filtered from our stream, we pride ourselves in being both 100% off-grid and self-sustainable. It was a large part of our vision to create a facility that didn't rely on the grid and would be immune from ever-growing present and future issues. We think we might be the only 100% off-grid commercial kennel facility in the world.

Although not always the easiest way to do it, it pays off when our furry guests get to enjoy all the luxuries that it allows for. We still have more off-grid infrastructure to go, and are stoked for the future!
